Status update ..

Its been the second week since the Yoga classes got completed. And I am trying really hard to wake up early morning for yoga. I have been successful most of the days, but I am just wondering how different it is now(how hard it is now to wake up) when compared to the time I was going for classes. I think I will need some real motivation, some people know what I mean ! Adding to this, bangalore weather is also not really supportive. Its been raining all the night and the weather is so gloomy that we can't see the sun even at 10 in the morning !

Coming to my marital life, its been six months since I got married and I should say, quite somethings have changed. I think, mainly, its the frequency of meeting with friends, that has changed. Since my wedding, I haven't met any of my friends for a casual lunch or a dinner, like I used to do earlier. Its only been, meeting friends at wedding functions. Last weekend, one of my friends called me for dinner and ofcourse some booze, and I was remembering the days when these were so frequent. I guess, times change and change quite a lot! One other change would be the amount of reading. I don't seem to have time to read at all. Lately, I have picked up on this slightly, after some time management training :-) Also, the weekends have been busy, not permiting anytime for office work. Otherwise, I usually used to drop into office atleast once over the weekend and work! Ofcourse, its not so good for the company I work for -:)

Lots of my batchmates are planning to tie the knot, and they have been enquiring as how marital life will be. I have only one thing to say to them, and I have been a believer in this before marriage too - "By all means marry; if you get a good wife, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher - socrates"

Yoga

This is my second stint at Yoga pratice. I had gone to yoga classes for about a month, during semester vacation, while doing my degree. That was, almost so long ago, that I don't even remember which year's semester vacation it was! At that time, I didn't have much to do, except for resting at home. So, I used to have a good lunch, and sleep off for a couple of hours. After that, I used to start off for the yoga classes, and that too, after a couple of wake up calls, one from my mom. The classes started at 5pm daily and used to last for an hour. It was a good exposure to Yoga and I liked it, as most of the students there were in their middle age, with pot bellies, not able to do most of the asanas and I turned out to be one of the best in performing the asanas. After that, its only now that I have again started going to the Yoga classes. I have joined the yoga asana course in Arya Samaj, in CMH road, Bangalore. The classes have almost come to an end, and I am very determined this time around to continue practising yoga every day. I have been going to the classes since a month and the course is for 45 days. I was going for morning classes, which are from 6am-7am. And its helped me a lot untill now. Besides Yoga, its helped me to wake up early, as I am usual not a earlier riser and my day only starts at 8am. But, for these classes, I have been getting up daily before 5:30 am and its become almost a habit. I am no more feeling sleepy in the afternoons, which usually happens with me, when I wake up very early. Also, I feel very active and fresh throughout the day.
We'll have to see how it goes from here :-)
